FAQ

Safari

The climate in this coastal strip (Western Cape) is Mediterranean, and most safari wildlife do not adapt well. They are not native to the area and mostly brought to these reserves to take advantage of the number of tourists in Cape Town and Garden Route. In short, they are zoos undercovered as safari reserves. There are exceptions in the semi-desert regions of Karoo and Klein Karoo, but the conditions are different from those found in the typical savannah and not recommended to most customers, as they have low animal density.
