AFRICA ATTRACTIONS

Tsavo East & West National Parks

For many the most underestimated in Kenya, Tsavo National Park is by far the largest in size in the country. Divided into two parts - east and west - by a highway and a railroad, it is strategically located between the two largest Kenyan cities, Nairobi and Mombasa. It is also close to Amboseli and Chyulu Hills National Parks. It extends to Tanzania, where Tsavo merges with Mkomazi National Park, just across the border.

Big 5 territory with unusual landscape, formed by volcanic lava and underground springs, Tsavo has additional attractions: rock climbing, the view of Kilimanjaro on the west side and red elephants (due to the reddish colouring of the soil) in the eastern portion of the park. In 1898, two lions allegedly ate 135 workers in the construction of the Kenya - Uganda railway. Legend or fact, fortunately the lions of the park follow another diet these days.

Safari

Safari is the most iconic of all activities available on the African continent. As a rule, it is the main motivation for anyone traveling to Africa. Safari is a much broader experience than meeting the Big 5: it is a continuous learning with unique sensations, according to each ecosystem and region to be explored. Each safari is unique and cumulative: the knowledge of a previous experience in the savanna becomes a reference for a future journey.
